Weston Paul

Our good friends Kurt and Kellie has their son on Saturday night, Weston Paul Newman.  He is a big and healthy baby weighing in at 8 lbs 15 oz.  Kellie and Wes are doing well and may come home from the hospital today.  Ethan is excited to have a new playmate :).

Playtime

It seems like every time I turn the video camera on he stops laughing and playing.  I think he is a little camera shy or else he is intrigued by the camera.  I got him playing a little in this video.  He has really been reaching for and grabbing things lately.  It has been a lot of fun to watch him grow.  

Small Head

The other day I was trying hats on Ethan to see which ones fit him and this was the closest I got.  It is a 0-3 month size and is still big on his little head :)  Last time we were are the doctor he was in the 20th percentile for head size.

Kitchen-Before & After

My parents came out to visit the California branch of their family the end of January and we had a great time with them.  My dad got to meet Ethan and help us put in an over the range microwave.  We have very little counter space in the kitchen and putting the microwave in freed up a ton of counter space.  My dad and Kenny had to take out and shorten the cabinet that is in the first picture before they could put the microwave up.  One of the things my dad had Kenny help with was sawing the frame of the cabinet and he cut his finger.  I got a band-aid and some neosporen to put on it and my dad laughed.  He's been hurt on the job several time and waits to go the the dr. until the end of his work day, and his accidents have been more severe then a shallow cut.  I am really thankful for how handy my dad is.  Its a real money saver.  He can basically do any household project.

Daddy, Mommy, or Both?

So, I was wondering who Ethan looks like the most.  Almost everyone we run into says that he is definitely Kenny's son.  There has been one lady from church that said he looks like me.  Personally I don't see any of it :)!  

Play Time

It has been a lot of fun lately watching Ethan play with his toys.  He smiles and laughs at them and especially enjoy the toys that make noise and light up.  He seems so much older to me in a lot of way, this being one.  He is a lot more content for a longer period of time while he is awake too.

Buddies

This is Ethan's friend, Reagan.  Her mommy and I go walking regularly.  It is about two and a half miles round trip with a Starbucks stop half way through.  We sit out on the patio for 15 minutes to catch our breath then we're off again.  It has been a lot of fun getting outside with Ethan and spending time with Delaine (Reagan's mom).
